The Spanish coastline of the Costa Blanca is not a popular destination for nothing. The extensive beaches, 365 days a year a wonderful climate and many restaurants contribute to the ultimate destination. 
Visit one of the many gems on the Costa Blanca just half an hour from Villa12. They are definitely worth a visit!

Jávea

Imagine you swim in crystal clear azure water and walk for hours along the beautiful coastline. That is Jávea, or Xábia as mentioned in the local dialect, with its incomparably beautiful coast. Due to its geographical location, there is a constant Mediterranean climate, 365 days a year. By car you are already within 30 minutes on one of the beaches of Jávea.

Dénia

On the narrow Moorish streets that meander through the center you can see that Dénia is a city with a special history. The Baix la Mar neighborhood with its colored houses is a fine example of a traditional Spanish fishing district. Here you can eat delicious! The port of Dénia is important for the region, with daily ferries to Ibiza (sailing time 2 hours) and Mallorca (5 hours). Dénia still has the charming look of a Mediterranean port.

Altéa

Altéa, located on the coast with its narrow streets is definitely worth a visit. From Villa12 a half hour drive through the Jalón Valley. The characteristic center makes Altéa very popular. Altéa is built on a hill with its typical white houses, where all kinds of nice art galleries can be found. Although Altéa is not a big city, there is certainly plenty to do.

Calpe

When you visit Calpe, you can see how beautiful the Costa Blanca can be. You will experience the azure water, the white beaches, the eternal sun and the smell of the sea. Calpe is a great sea-side resort with many activities. How about a day of sea fishing or a diving experience along the jagged cliffs?

Moraira

Get to know Moraira and the cozy historic center, the marina and its beaches. This beautiful, quiet, green beach resort is beautifully sheltered and is particularly popular because of its exclusive character. Moraira speaks with its half-moon shaped bay and fine sandy beach to everyone's imagination.

El Gorg del Salt

100% pure water wrapped in perfect beauty, located in the heart of the Barranco de l'Enchanted. To get here, follow the CV-700 and a few km you take a narrow road to the left, which is identified by the reference ' Barranc de l ' Enchanted '. The source is one of the most extensive and with sufficient depth, so you even can jump down from the edge.

El Salt de Xixona

The emerald green water of ' El Salt de Xixona ' is like an oasis in the withered landscape, undetected hidden under a narrow ravine. The water is of the most pure quality. To get here take the road towards Jijona and at the height of the CV-7840 Jijonenca you leave and continue on through the dirt path.

Les Fonts del Algar

This is undoubtedly the most visited sweet water place in the County, set up as a theme park on the river bed of the river Algar in Callosa d ' Ensarriá. It is the only place where one entrance fee raises and it is often very busy. A range of facilities and services are offered including restaurants. Price adults €4 and children €2.

Toll Blau

The Vinalopó River follows its way to the sea and passes through some of the most picturesque landscapes of the Sierra de Mariola, via the pure desert of Elche. The Vinalopó is the origin of Toll Blau; a charming Creek hidden in a small shaded Canyon at the foot of an impressive waterfall. Bathing in the water of Toll Blau is an experience as somewhere far away on a tropical island.

Embalso de Guadelest

Located in one of the green valleys and with a magnificent view of some of the most emblematic peaks of the region. Only a few kilometers from the village of Castell de Guadalest. So after a day water fun, nothing better than a visit to one of the most beautiful villages of Spain.

Font Major de Sella

This is completely untouched original fresh water source of antiquity. Font Major de Sella is a small natural well of crystal clear water in a magical environment, where water plays an important role since the beginning of time. Proof of this are the known water seals on the stamps of the old water mill.

Rio Serpis en Lorcha

The green route of the river Serpis runs between Lorcha and Villalonga. It is an absolutely magical place where the Serpis crosses the municipality Lorcha. Over a distance of 15 km on the River meanders along old mountain paths. Along the route are plenty of places that invite you to take a bath, such as waterfalls and dams ... Ideal places to dream away.

Rio Gorgos

Most of the time the Gorgos consists of a dry riverbed, which invites to go hiking or practicing ATB. Exceptionally during heavy rainfall the Gorgos turns into a swirling river. Especially the trajectory between Jalón (Xaló) - Gata offers spectaculair possibilities for rafting.

Nature and relaxation

Jalón is surrounded by a mountain range with peaks such as the Sierra de Bernia (1128m), Penyo de la Mica and Sierra del Forner.
Nature is typically Spanish; many olive trees, interspersed with pine trees, vineyards, almond trees and citrus trees. You can explore nature by taking a walking tour through the valley and discover the many herbs such as chamomile, thyme and bitter-sweet. You can also choose to cycle and conquer the cols from 'La Vuelta'. This cycling tour regularly passes this area. In the nearby town of Benissa you can rent horses or a quad.

Experience Jalón

The center has many narrow streets and typical Moorish houses. Around the fountain on the square is every Tuesday market. At the time of the Moorish domination there was a mosque on this square, where now the neoclassical church Santa Maria with its characteristic blue dome stands. The river Gorgos runs through the town. Along the river you can enjoy shopping at the boutiques or have a drink on a terrace.
